Director, writer, actor and producer Lena Dunham is best known for the double Golden Globe Award–winning HBO hit Girls, for which she became the first woman to win the Directors Guild of America award for outstanding directing in a comedy series. Alongside her TV and literary work, Dunham has released three feature films, most recently starring in and producing Treasure with Stephen Fry.
