Sarah Ruby is creative director at Vogue, putting her background in design and architecture and long-standing love for creative storytelling to work for the brand and its advertisers. After graduating from the California Polytechnic State University with a degree from the school of architecture, Ruby moved to New York to pursue a masters degree in communication design at Pratt Institute, which then led her to a creative role at Xymbio Agency in London. She returned to the US, working at L’Oréal focusing on store design and graphics. She then joined Condé Nast, where she worked across several titles. Currently, she works on commercial projects that range across Vogue’s brand pillars of fashion, art, and culture.
