Amy Astley is the global editorial director for Architectural Digest. She is also the author of the best-selling book, AD at 100: A Century of Style. Prior to leading AD, she was the founding editor of Teen Vogue, launched in 2003. During Astley’s tenure, Teen Vogue was nominated twice for a National Magazine Award for General Excellence. Astley’s 2009 New York Times best-seller, The Teen Vogue Handbook: An Insider’s Guide to Careers in Fashion was updated and reissued by Penguin in 2014. She has spent a great deal of her career immersed in art, design and fashion, including five years at House & Garden and nearly a decade at Vogue.
