The global director of Vogue Business since 2021, Nicole Phelps began her career at WWD and W Magazine, where she served as an editorial assistant before becoming an accessories editor. After five years as Elle Magazine’s Fashion News Editor, Phelps joined Style.com, where she reviewed runway shows for a decade. She became the Director of Vogue Runway in 2015, launching the website’s fashion show vertical and the Vogue Runway App, which won the 2018 Webby People’s Voice Award. In 2020, she collaborated on the globalization of the Vogue Runway site and iOS app. She’s been a member of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund jury and the juries of the ANDAM Award and the Festival d’Hyères.
